Hello parents teachers and all learners a warm welcome to easy primary learning.
An important part of  reading is to teach various patterns that are made in combination of two or more vowels  as in ai in rain. This helps in spelling the word in a right way . There are some common ways of pronounciation and children learn them faster . These are
Frequently and commonly used words.
Not so common ones can be taught little later when children master the high frequency used words . There are not only vowels but also consonants which are used in vowel teams for eg: ight , 
ough, ow. This is a huge topic and it comes only with practice of reading . 
Two or three patterns can be covered in a week's time say ai and ay. But this needs enough practice and that time should be given to the child. 
When two vowels or letters make one sound it is called a vowel pattern or vowel team. First we will start with the easier ones so let's begin:
